Dead service. Customer for not even a month, had lag some lag issues but nothing extreme. Today, server disappears, no ftp, no Brohoster LLC website, no customer support. What the hell?
Worst hosting tried so far. They claim to have a money-back if not satisfied. Which is complete bull.
Avoid at all cost.

Well I’m here to give my honest review of brohoster.
I’ve had their service for under a year now. I ordered web hosting back when it was still under the brohoster umbrella (I believe that the company is split into clubuptime for websites and brohoster for game servers).
Pricing: The pricing is great, the annual fee for the lowest tiered web server and domain hosting was great. It’s very competitive and that’s great.
Server Quality: Never had any problems with my host going down, although to be honest my site was never a ‘stressful’ site to begin with. It’s primarily for personal use.
Website: Their knowledgebase is completely empty, save for 1 article.
Overall Service: They used to have a live-chat option which I used once or twice, I don’t remember for what. I think my webpage was lagging. They’ve now opted to disable the live-chat option and only respond to tickets and emails. Initially I thought this was a great idea. Now the support staff would help more people instead of having to wait for the person on the other-side of the chat to respond. Boy, was I wrong.
On June 2nd I opened a ticket asking the sales staff where I should post my web tickets since there is no longer a sub-category for them (I assume because of clubuptime? I was never told about how I will be handled, the options just disappeared from the live-chat and tickets). The response time was phenomenal and I mean it. My ticket was answered within the same minute I posted it. This excited me so I opened a new ticket.
I opened a new ticket because I couldn’t SSH to my server even though I had setup the keys on the cPanel. Naturally I assumed that I didn’t have access and after my experience with the first ticket I posted another regarding SSH.
First day goes by, no message. No problem, I’m a pretty patient guy and I figured they’re busy. On the second day I ‘bumped’ my ticket, just a one liner adding some information that I forgot to include the first day. 10 hour after my ‘bump’ I get a response informing me that I’m going to be transferred to another department.
Well, that makes sense. I posted it in a random sub-category because I had no idea where to post it. Basically, I’m a client who has web hosting with them but their site doesn’t handle web hosting support. At this point I said to myself I’d wait for a response.
2 days after being ‘transferred’ I get a little impatient and throw a one-liner telling the staff I’m still waiting.
Another 2 days later, nothing. So here I am June 7th, 1 work week after I established my ticket with the only reply from the staff being that my ticket was moved to the right category. Great. So I posted a little upset rant about how I felt about the situation. It spanned a few lines yet I made an effort to remain courteous, hoping that this was a one-off situation. My main point was that I wasn’t upset about the lack of work being done to resolve the ticket ( I really wasn’t!) but was more upset about the lack of any kind of response to the ticket. Not even a ‘sorry for the wait but…’
So an hour after posting my multi-line rant I get a message from another staff member telling me that they have to flag the owner in regards to my case…Flag the..owner? Right. A gamehosting/webhosting company has to flag the owner to handle a simple situation such as SSH? Fine. Perhaps there’s something in the background related to the fact that I’m under brohoster which officially doesn’t provide web hosting services. I can understand that.
6 days after that message, June 13th (opened the ticket June 2nd) I still have yet to receive any followup. I posted a one-liner this morning and still have not received any information by the end of the day.
To be honest, I am ready to cancel my hosting with them. Luckily my site is a small personal site and I wasn’t that hindered by their lack of support. It did block me from starting a project on there which I needed SSH for but that’s not really a big deal. The fact that they didn’t respond to me in 6 days? Now that’s a deal breaker for me.
Note: In my voting I tried to remain as honest as possible. Their quality/pricing/website are good/great/not-bad but pricing is not an issue for me. With so many webhosts out there today the only thing that matters to me is support and reliablitiy of services. Brohoster failed to provide me support and as such I am here writing this review to share my experiences.

Brohoster is the worst host i have ever had. It all started out fine even tho the prices were high, then it started to come apart. My server lagged the server goes down for maintenance and now they disabled my account for no reason.
I highly recommend everyone avoiding Brohoster LLC. They cant even keep their support system active it takes a week to get one response. Never in my life have i felt so deeply insulted by a hosting service but i really think they need to shape up or more valued customers like me will be gone to hosts who will treat us like bros NOT HOES!

Found these guys through the minecraftforums after one day with another host sent us looking else where for a private server.
Set up was quick and easy after ordering, within a few hours we were up and running on minecraft 1.5, and still awaiting a reply from the previous hosts.
The server has been stable, lag free and very easy to set up and use. And as soon as bukkit release an update I know that brohoster stick it on the panel for us to get to. Fantastic!
The customer service is top notch, I know that if I submit a support ticket even if it is low priority I’ll have an answer within hours and not days. And these support tickets are just regarding plugins for the server!
Fantastic service, cheap, reliable and fantastic support. If you want a server I’d strongly recommend these guys!

When I first thought about setting up a Minecraft server, I thought “damn this is going to be hard” I thought I was going to have to know Unix commands and what not, but no, It was really simple to setup, I just copied my Minecraft world over threw FTP and it was setup, all there is to it is a stop and start button to the control panel which is great, the servers work flawlessly and I couldn’t recommend them enough, great job guys!

I’m a new customer and I am pretty new to multiplayer in general. When I started playing on servers, I realized how incredibly fun it was to play with other people. The only issue was that other servers were not perfect. Ether the admins were evil people who blocked everything or there was a huge amount of lag or something else. That’s when I decided I wanted to run my own server. I looked at a huge amount of other hosts which all had huge price tags or didn’t give you enough freedom to install your own plugins. Then, one day, I found Brohoster on the Minecraft forums. I started reading about them and realized that they had excellent testimonials. I decided to sign up for the stone tier and see what would happen, if I didn’t like something I could always get my money back. I was thrilled. The first thing I did was install WorldEdit via their handy FTP server and replaced all the grass in a 350 block radius with diamond. When I used to host a server off my laptop, this would easily crash the computer. All my grass was diamond in a few seconds. It was undone even faster.
I had an issue once with my server crashing repeatedly whenever someone used /home. This was easily fixed with the help of the knowledgeable and very quick support team by uninstalling a plugin that was hogging all my ram.
When hosting a Minecraft server with Brohoster, you’ll have
No lag
Friendly and fast support
A large amount of flexibility with your server.
Brohoster, you’re awesome and anyone who thinks otherwise is obviously doing something wrong. And to all you new people, I’m not very good at writing but I think that I got the point across: Brohoster is 100% awesome.

I’ve only been a client of brohoster for a short time. The few times the server has had problems they’ve been quick to give information on what was happening and that they were working on it. They are quick to answer support tickets and give information when needed. Myself and my players all appreciate the solid server uptime and quality. To have this kind of support and quality at the price is truly remarkable. They have been true bros and I hope to maintain the service far into the future. I would and do recommend this to everyone else who wants to host a server.

Best decision I ever made. Servers are cheap, reliable and backed by an awesome support team! Always willing to help and quite prompt, they are an inspiration to other support teams everywhere!
You will not regret your decision to go with Brohoster! They are an awesome group of people, and I feel like they could be friends of mine. They definitely are not a face-less organization

I was brand new to the Minecraft community and had a group of friends who wanted to boot up a server to play together. I’ve admin’d servers in the past, but it was usually very signup-and-go. Minecraft’s admin side is almost a game within a game as you combat plugin updates, performance issues, lag, and griefers. It’s good to have someone who has your back.
Enter Brohoster. They were everything I was hoping for in a host.
Simple Upgrades
My biggest concern was getting a server with a plugin-friendly environment (with little installation/upgrade hassle). They test all Bukkit updates thoroughly and inform you right on their server panel which Bukkit releases are stable. Installing is just clicking a button. Yay!
Upgrading and downgrading your server is just as simple. Just go to the order page, click some dropdown boxes, and you’ve got yourself a larger (or smaller) server. No forced ticket submissions, surveys, 2-hour migration times, or silly B.S.
Awesome Pricing
My next concern was price. I was unsure if this game was going to “stick” among my friends. Investing $15/mo into a server with dubious refund fulfillment. Their budget pricing attracted me to them since even if things went south, it was just a $3.95 investment for one month. Plus they offered to refund within 7 days if I wasn’t impressed. I’m now paying $11.95/mo for a bigger server on their best rigs (with SSDs!), and their prices still beat most of the competition.
Ridiculously Active Support
For anyone using a hosting service, customer support is massive. This goes double for Minecraft, where beta bugs, plugin issues, and configuration questions abound.
I’ve had hosts that were impersonal, agonizingly slow to respond, and unhelpful. They would take my 20-line log report and thought-out questions and reply with a 1-line lazy solution (“Try restarting.” “We’ll look into it. (never responds again)” “Let me escalate this issue. (never gets resolved)”).
Brohoster has countless consumer touch-points. They have a Minecraft thread to answer sales/company inquiries (a huge plus to see the CEO involved in putting customer concerns at ease), new forums for archived help, a Brozone ticket system where I’ve never waited for more than 14 hours for a response, a Facebook page to keep everyone on top of outages and issues, and a dedicated chatroom with company & community live support. They even just added a GetSatisfaction page to field ideas for improvements.
Whichever method you use, the responses are quick and actually helpful.
They’re Gamers
You’re getting servers from people who play Minecraft just like you do and deeply understand what the game requires for optimal performance. You’re not getting some unmanaged VPS where you pray the host understands game server needs. You’re not buying from people who hire support that are more trained in domain name sales or e-commerce. These guys play games. They play Minecraft. Their answers and advice are great because they’ve been through what you’ve been through.
No Questions Left Unanswered
If you look at their Minecraft thread, you’ll see every question posited to Brohoster answered (usually by Brohoster themselves). I’ve submitted 30+ tickets, and all are marked Answered or Closed. Their Facebook page isn’t just statuses- you see Brohoster @-replying people in threads whether they’re posting jokes, questions, or complaints. They’re super-involved and super-supportive.
You might feel you’re paying for a server and bandwidth, but you’d be crazy if you didn’t recognize their immense amount of communication Brohoster does. That goes a lot farther than just a server. It ensures you stay sane, your players are happy, and you server lives a long, stable life.
Some Downsides
No testimonial is complete without a little bit of balance. I’ve had hiccups with my service. I think it’s important for users to know the failures (and frequency of said failures) when deciding to purchase. But none of these issues have ever come close to making me consider cancelling.
1) SQL borks occasionally. I’ve had my SQL server become inoperable for hours at a time the past 2 months. They only had one SQL technician who can fix said issues, so we had to wait till his shift started until things could be fixed. A downer since I had to disable some plugins until this could get resolved, but they were on top of it.
2) They changed my server’s IP address and hosting location without notice. Granted, this was spurred by Softlayer not offering systems that met their quality standard, but it was sudden and freaked out a few of my users. Still, it has only happened once, and they apologized for it.
3) Server performance issues. You know when blocks lay on the ground for a good 5 seconds before they get snatched up? Or when you skip 5 blocks ahead suddenly while running? Or you’re building and can’t move forward because the server hasn’t actually destroyed what you just hit? These things happen. They probably happen once a week. On our old 256MB server with ~4 plugins we were getting random lag events with decent frequency… but whenever something happened, a quick ticket submission was all it took to get guidance! Sometimes it was their hosts messing up, sometimes it was an error only they could fix, and sometime it was plugin overusage during high-traffic times. Your service will not be 100% smooth, but it won’t be 100% smooth on any provider. The key here is how Brohoster dealt with the issues.
Are They Really Bros?
If I had to summarize my experiences and feelings and compare them against Brohoster’s promises, I’d say Brohoster really does live up to what they preach. They believe in high-standard support, the best rigs for their servers, and treating their customers with respect and professionalism.
You’re not some mere invoice number or nameless client. You’re able to talk and play with them(on their Brohoster public server). I can’t think of any other host that comes close to caring so much about their clients for the price.
Get with Brohoster. They’re your bros, and you’re theirs. They embody everything a host should be.

From day one of owning Minecraft I knew I wanted my own server, but after seeing the insane prices that all of the hosts offered on the Minecraft forums for even a few slots made my jaw drop. I was very discouraged from the beginning. I could never afford $9-12 per month for a 4 slot server, and it wasn’t even the server size I wanted. I was about to quit searching for hosting altogether because they were all the same in prices and mediocre sale models until I saw the Brohoster service appear on the list of pinned topics.
Brohoster’s pricing and service is amazing, and I was instantly able to see why they easily had some of the happiest customers ever on their thread. All I saw were rave reviews! Within 3 minutes of seeing the forum thread I immediately called my friend and told him that we had to order a server now! He didn’t even question it when he saw the thread, and immediately bought one.
The hosting itself is phenomenal! They told us we could fit around 4 players on a 192mb server, but they couldn’t be any more wrong. We’re able to hold at least 8 with multiple Bukkit plugins, and our server still doesn’t lag! I was dumbfounded when we kept raising the player limit on the server, and never saw any loss of performance whatsoever. Even though the server is in the U.S., we had friends from Australia and the U.K. also connect and not even feel a spike after hours of play. I was so impressed I upgraded to the 256mb server.
To this day, we’ve never had a single issue with Brohoster themselves. When we filed a support ticket for an issue that we caused on our part, they responded within 10 minutes, and the server was instantly fixed. I was very surprised by the immediate service for an issue that we had caused, but they even threw in a complimentary upgrade to our server for free! I’ve never seen a company respond so fast, let alone throw in a free upgrade for something I caused.
This is one of the few Minecraft companies that actually care for each of their customers, and it is evident by their low prices, support, and lag-free servers they offer. They know how to work their servers to make every last feature work flawlessly, and provide an end product no user could ever dislike.
Brohoster continues to be one of my favorite companies I’ve ever dealt with, and I’ll never turn to another Minecraft hosting service, ever!

In November, I purchased a server from a different provider and happily used their service until this past April. It was a vanilla server only, with no option to use craftbukkit. Since Minecraft says that the SMP is buggy and still in beta, we figured that the slow loading of the world chunks and lag that we experienced was no fault of the server but Minecraft itself.
This past April, annoyed by our current server, I decided to give Brohoster a try. I signed up for a bedrock server and I was wowed! THIS was more like it! The server was responsive and felt just like single player.
Within three days, I cancelled our old server and I have been a proud user of Brohoster since.
Also, their customer service is top-notch. For instance, when I stumbled upon the dynmap plugin, I sent them an email to see if they could get the plugin set-up for me and within 10 minutes, it was up and running! Now THATS service!!

I got into Minecraft about two months ago and wanted to get a server for my friends and I to play on. As is the case with many people, I went to the Minecraft Forums in search of a hosting company. I compared each of the companies in the approved list pretty extensively, and decided upon Brohoster.
I generally go by the saying that you get what you pay for. And it works 90% of the time. So going into it, I was a bit skeptical first as they were able to offer me a 192MB, ~3 player with quite a few plugins or 6 players with no plugins, server for around $4/month. Just as a reference, I believe the closest competitor to that was *Other Company* offering 200MB, 4 players for $9/month. Every other company was $15/month or more. With their 7 day full refund period, I gave it a shot.
I have had a server with them for about a month and half now. While it is not accurate for me to say that I had zero problems, I was able to experience their outstanding customer service for the problems that I did run into. During my time with Brohoster, I am pretty sure I have talked to every single staff, including Jacob, whether through tickets, live support, the forums, and more recently, IRC. Every one of them is experienced, friendly, and very helpful. They were all down to earth and honest and worked to solve whatever problems I had. When one person could not solve it, they would simply inform me that they did not know the solution and referred me to another staff member that did know. They treat you the way that you want to be treated: like a valued, unique customer.
As I am quite active on their bro.cm community forum, Minecraft Forums, and IRC, I know that I am not alone in my experiences. Brohoster staff show a level of service, friendliness, professionalism, and care for their customers that is really, really hard to come by nowadays.
For the sake of keeping this short, I will just summarize and end off by saying that Brohoster is a great company. If you are thinking about buying a server from them, you have nothing to lose. The staff (and the Brohoster community, to an extent) will do everything they can to solve whatever issues you may have. Also, Brohoster’s prices are the lowest across the industry. Other companies will try to match their prices but they certainly cannot match Brohoster’s quality.

The story of my poor iMac
Lets go back in time to March of this year…
Goddamn, I hate running the server and client on my computer at the same time, puts way too much strain on the computer. Surely there must be a better way, but all hosting companies I have seen cost way too much.
Lets have another look around the internet… brohoster? Huh, that cheap? Surely they cant make a profit. And I dont live in the US, thats gotta lag for sure. I’ll check it out either way.
10 minutes later….
Wow, that was quick and there isn’t even any lag. Not even when me and my buddy are at different corners of our world. Fantastic!
At last my dear computer can have a slight rest and I can pump up the graphic settings, hurrah!
Back to the present…
It is now nearing the end of May, so I have been with brohoster a good couple of months and i’m as pleased as when I first joined.
Im now expecting two things to grow; my world and your company.
Many thanks for everything, bro

I started my first Minecraft server with Brohoster. The thought of changing hosts hasn’t even crossed my mind. The most memorable bit of Brohoster magic was the time Jacob Jervey (The Brohoster CEO and resident Bro) came on my server, in person, to help me with a problem. Could you get that kind of support from any other hosts?
With Brohoster, you will get:
-Top notch servers that are cheaper than dirt
-Epic support
-Free brohugs/brofists
-Epic bromance out the wazoo.
It would be stupid to go with any other host.

My friend started by buying a Bedrock Tier server for some of our guild members to hang out while not raiding in World of Warcraft…as word spread, more and more people wanted to play and start building. So, we changed hands and I purchased a Stone Tier to support our growing numbers.
At first I was hesitant about the increase in price, due to the new pricing policy…but with it comes blazing fast Solid State Drives (SSD) on top of the already amazing specs of their current server hardware provided by SoftLayer. Chunks are loading extremely fast, plugins don’t seem to be lagging us at all (running like 15 plugins, including large ones like WorldEdit, Falsebook, etc), and everyone is very happy. When your players don’t talk about (i.e. complain) about server issues, it’s a true win in my opinion.
Other features have been extremely helpful; like access via FTP which made it super easy to migrate our world between our old Bedrock server to our new Stone server. It also allows for quicker editing of config files or the whitelist. While they currently use TCAdmin as their control panel (which I’ve had zero issues with) they are working hard on a new control panel, in house, which should be out very soon. They even stream video of the work in progress, giving their customers a sneak peek at new features and the creative process.
All these things are amazing, but the best part about being a “Bro” is the customer service. I recently had a huge issue getting a plugin to work (PreciousStones) as it didn’t allow for usage of SQLite, which is the current default database management for Brohoster. All it took was a simple ticket via their customer panel to enable MySQL. Well, it wasn’t that easy for me to figure out and the staff walked me through each step. When we finally had MySQL set up correctly the plugin was STILL throwing errors. I was at my wits end, but it wasn’t the fault of Brohoster. In a last ditch effort, I asked them to delete all my databases so I could start fresh and within a few minutes it was done. I reuploaded the plugin and BAM! it worked perfect. I would have never figured it out had I been hosting the server myself and I’ve never seen such quick support from other game hosting companies.
So, should you sign up for a server? If you want the best experience available…then it’s time to become a “Bro” like me.

I run an Iron Tier Brohoster Minecraft server with my friend, whom I also run a website with which gets tens of thousands of hits per day from across the globe. As we were both avid players we decided to create a server for our community. We are based in the UK.
I had previously had a server with a different company who failed to live up to expectations. I would often get large amounts of lag and it really would not have been suitable for players from multiple continents to log on to. So I was initially sceptical about purchasing hosting from another company, especially one whose prices were lower than that of the first!
We started off tentatively by allowing up to 5 people online simultaneously and then just let the limit grow. However, our Brohoster server coped admirably and I can say that our world was not adversely affected.
We currently run 26 plugins on our server including heavy-usage ones such as WorldEdit, WorldGaurd, Dynmap, BigBrother and Permissions. We’ve never had the server crash, which is just testament to the amazing service the Bros provide.
The few times I had to open a support ticket the Brohoster service staff were great! One time was to create a MySQL database for the BigBrother plugin (which was created within the day) and another time I was requesting a change of port because I was unable to get on the server as my university’s firewall blocked most ports. They were extremely supportive, forwarding my ticket to higher members of staff who could help me out and it was changed within a day of me finding a suitable open port!
Overall I’d have to say that Brohoster has gone above and beyond the call of duty and have provided an excellent service at incredibly competitive prices and which also has great staff who have a sense of humour. The fact that we can have so many players from around the globe on such a good value server is truly amazing.
I expect my bromance with them to flourish until my Minecrafting days are over (which is hopefully never).

May 17th, 2011
For those of you who don’t know me, I am Charles Winthrop, known to the online world as DJ Charlie, founder of the internet radio station KJSR.net.
A few months ago, the staff at the station decided that we should jump on this whole Minecraft bandwagon, and I was tasked with setting up the server for it. So, after researching the requirements, I started looking for hosting.
Host it locally, at the station’s in-house servers? Not enough bandwidth.
Host it on the station’s stream servers? Plenty of bandwidth, but not enough RAM.
Host it on the station’s web server? Plenty of bandwidth, plenty of RAM, but way too processor intensive.
So I started looking for a nice affordable VPS to host it on. Contacted the hosts we use for the web server and the stream servers, but the prices were WAY too high. Called around to a few other places, same story. Finally found a nice place, good reviews, and decent prices. Started using their service, and found out that they allow NO background processes. The minute you log out, they shut down anything you have running. Ah, so just stay logged in, you say? Sure. But they actively monitor your connection, and drop you after 3 minutes of activity.
So, while I was despairing over what to do (having been given a strict deadline for getting KJSRWorld set up), I noticed a post on the Minecraft forums about a relatively new, small hosting service. Sure, they weren’t exactly “top-notch” on support, but they were affordable, and more importantly, they were personally-run. The actual OWNER of the company was answering tickets!
Now, one thing our station prides itself on is that we host with smaller companies. Sort of a digital version of “buy local, act global.” So this company seemed perfect for us.
The company, my friends, is Brohoster. And I can honestly say, they stand by their (rather odd) motto 100 percent. “Brohoster: We treat you like a bro, not screw you like a ho!”
So, as Jacob celebrates another birthday, and Brohoster celebrates an anniversary, allow me to say that they have won a very long-term customer with us.

My friend and I used a hamachi minecraft server but all it did was crash my computer whenever 3+ people logged on. He told me to use brohosters because they have cheap prices. I thought the site was a phonie because cheap doens’t mean quality. I decide to try out the lowest package to see if it’s actually good. It was 5.95$ a month for 6 people. The second i hit the confirm purchase button, I got an email from the site giving me my ip for the server, the control panel information and tech support! The control panel is extremely easy to use. The server has no lag whatsoever. Me and my friends go on all the time now and fool around! I needed a MySQL database installed on my server and I had no idea how to. So I sumbitted a ticket asking for them to install a MySQL database on my server and 1 hour later I got an email back saying, “What server would you like your database on?” (I bought 2 servers). I was amazed that they would install things for you, and they do it fast. Most sites don’t email you back for atleast 3 “buisness days” Brohoster has no such thing has buisness days! This site was the best thing that happened to me. Low prices, no lag, and free tech support. I definately suggest you get this.

Brohoster is one of the worst server hosts ever. Never have I purchased a worst server. The lag is worse than anything I have ever seen. My server and its community purchased the gold tier, the second highest. It is rated for 48 players, and yet everyone lags at 32.
If you plan to run more than 5 plugins with craftbukkit, look for a new host because their servers won’t handle it.
We have contacted them at least 10 times asking whether it is us or them and they said it was them and our server was a special case. One horrid month later, they still have failed to rectify their problem.
Sure their ram is “softlayered”, but that still is not enough. If you are looking for a server host that will host a legitimate server, look elsewhere for they will not work for you either.
Buyer beware; this company is a complete scam.

I love their “We treat you like a bro, not screw you like a ho” Well, grab the lipstick, because I like to look pretty when i get screwed like a ho.
Jokes aside lets try to get down to the bare basics
I rented their highest tier server
Pros
-FTP and TCAdmin(standard but nice)
-Good Website design
-Fast setup
Cons
-I pay for a roughly 96 person(I run about 15mods)
I CAN HAVE ONLY 40 PEOPLE ON, and it lags up a storm even then
-Support-Where is it? Their live support has never been on when I needed them
and their ticketing takes a day or so, BUT THEY DON’T EVEN FIX THE PROBLEM, If I say my server is laggy, they replied oh, well it must be erroring out, they dont actually fix it, they just tell you whats wrong, oh well this is outdated, they dont offer to help or fix it,
-and dont expect your experience to be nice for you, they move your server and change IP’s every once and a while for whatever reason(it so random)
So honestly don’t bother, this server had major lag issues with 30 people on with 5 mods, its crap, their softlayered server are soft crap.

I will try to be unbiased and rate them on my experiences with them.
- AWFUL support. It has taken them over two weeks (and still counting) to seriously reply to my support ticket. Do not believe much of what they say about themselves on their website:
“We’ll help you every step of the way, for no extra charge. Think of it as a thank you for choosing to be with Brohoster. Don’t feel like you can’t talk with them on a personal level either, we’re all bros here. “. – Complete and utter rubbish. I feel that they are very cold towards me, and do the bare minimum to “shut me up”. To be quite honest, it seemed like they had something against me. To put it better, everytime I submitted a support ticket, it felt like I was annoying them.
Their “Live support” feature is utterly useless. It’s open about 1 hour each night if you are lucky, and even then, it’s usually only open for either Source servers or Minecraft. (One or the other).
- The pricing (one of the few positives), however is very reasonable.
- The server quality is just “okay”. Nothing special. Nothing terrible.
I am more than likely going to demand a refund for the last month as their awful service has severely affected my servers.
I hope the staff read this review, so that they can try to better their services.
I avoided going into detail in some parts because I would prefer if the staff do not recognise me.

To be quite honest they are good people and try but not hard enough I was very upset at there horrible live support being up once a month for 1 hour and then the very slow responses I get on my tickets and they did what I asked in the end but it was horrible service and then my gold tier server would crash and lag with only 18 plugins and 7 people (gold teir = 48 people) so I don’t recommend them.

Ive been with brohoster for my minecraft server for nearly a month now, At first i didn’t think 512mb would support a 24 slot server, But was i wrong. Not only does it run better then servers with 1024mb ram(24 slots on other sites), but it is extremely fast. Talk about value for money! Most 512mb servers by other hosts only hold 8-12 people and they lag!
Brohoster are Fast, Easy to Use, Reliable, Excellent Support, Zero Lag, Extremely Fast Servers, Free SQL Databases on request, Free Additional Ports within 40000-50000 range, FTP can get a little bit slower at times(but there so popular that is expected!), There working on upgrading away from TC admin to give us better control of our servers!
If you need a game server or already have one! Brohoster are 100% who you want to host yours.

I bought a Minecraft server and a TeamSpeak server with Brohoster, and both were up within 24 hours. For the low prices, I wasn’t expecting such amazing server quality! The stone tier server handles my 10+ friends and me just fine, with minimal lag. They are also the lowest-priced Minecraft servers I could find ANYWHERE, after searching almost every server host that offered dedicated Minecraft hosting.

Ever since I bought a Bedrock level server from BroHoster for me and my friends, we have had a lot of fun. It’s lag free, easy to install plugins and addons, and I haven’t had a single problem with them. If you need a small server or large server to play on and maintain, get a BroHoster server.

Simply the best.
What else is there to say? They’re a fantastic host, always helpful with any problems you have. I don’t see why anyone would go elsewhere, unless you hate Bro’s of course.
If you want great quality hosting – you won’t look anywhere but here.
They’re just real Bro’s.

Brohoster is a fantastic hoster. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them and they always answer my questions in MINUTES. They personally helped me install a plugin on my Minecraft server and the quality is fantastic, especially for the insanely low prices they offer!
The personal yet professional feel of the company leaves you satisfied and fulfilled. You can get a server with BroHoster knowing you will receive support and attention and not be “just another customer.”

I really loved how that the server didn’t lag and the customer service is really great. I learned that they are down to earth people and they made my day when I told them that my friend was paying $135. After I told him about these guys he tried it out on my server and he loved it. He just bought a server from these guy yesterday.
I love these guys and I will come back to them when I find another job.

Absolutely fantastic service. Great support, and I particularly appreciate the unlimited MySQL databases. Prices might be a little bit higher than some competitors, but the excellent support and quality is more than enough to make up for it.
CPanel is also included with even the cheapest package!
And when the website rarely is down, I just contact Live Support, and it’s solved in minutes!
Absolutely recommended!

I cannot tell you how EXQUISITE this was! I started a ticket at 4:08 and received a response at 4:09! The server HAS NO LAG AT ALL. I found my self gasping at the amount of things you could control the server with. Only 16 bucks for a 10 slot server?! That’s insane, every other rate I got has been 20-30 dollars. Fast DL, a good location, amazing site appearance,(I am a big fan of photoshop)Cheap price, good ping! Crap, this is like freaking heaven. If it got any better I would think I was blessed.

This was THE host that got my server back running. Other hosts wouldn’t match the requirements or would lag. Out of about 6 hosts I have tried with, this is the best one so far in every way. The server runs very very smoothly. The support is amazing, helps with literally everything and is very easy to contact. The pricing lives up to the quality of what you get, and after my purchase, I got what I wanted within a minute and I am not dissapoint. You won’t either.

We here at the GarrysMod.com Administration are really happy about the great support Brohoster gives us, as well as the sponsoring =].
They have a great and friendly support, good hardware and typical professional software. Updates are performed in seconds, the framework works as it should. Choose this service if you like support that cares and helps you with everything, not just their own stuff.

brohosting is great, servers are VERY cheap if your buying lots of slots. Like me, the clan im in died many times and im trying to help out so we dont again. And they are the perfect host for a 48 slot 66 tick 500 fps zombie css server!

I had started my website a while back through Squarespace, and while they had worked fine, they had lacked the depth and capabilities that I wanted (FTP access, MySQL, etc). Brohoster gave me everything I wanted at an extremely reasonable price, which is always an added bonus! Their support is fantastic, getting back to me within a few hours the two times I’ve needed their help, and were knowledgeable and could solve my problem within the first reply.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a website, and am looking forward to being a long-term customer of theirs!

I have had plenty of experience using game server hosting and several ‘larger’ companies but I already found that Brohoster is the most reasonable and easy to work with all around. Their pricing right off the bat makes more sense and you really can’t beat it when compared to other companies with half of the overall service. I will definitely recommend this host to friends and anyone looking for a good company to work with.

I have always been thinking about the idea of finally using my domain, and Brohoster gave me the opportunity.
These bro’s has given me the best online experience i’ve ever had.
They can help with anything and they’re always friendly.
I don’t think it can be any better – I love you.
They’re something special!
Oh, and the prices are awesome at the same time!

If I were to ever have a problem I was answered within minutes and helped every step of the way, I felt at times I was being silly but the customer service was very patient and helpful. I set up the website just to host content I have created so I can show it off too people, and for that purpose it is great value as I don’t have to spend a ton every month. I would suggest anyone from now on to use Brohoster.

I currently have 2 websites and a garrys mod server with Brohoster. This is by far the best host I have EVER used. The prices may not be the lowest, but they arnt far from it, and are worth the extra couple cents! The customer support is amazing, the best part is being able to talk to the owner directly, whenever I need him! If you are looking to host a website or gameserver, you would be stupid to not go with Brohoster. Not once will they screw you like a ho.

I’ve always wanted a simple website host with no strings attached, one day i happened to stumble across brohosters on facepunch.com where i usually browse.
Their website looked nice, rates looked interesting and i had a general good feel about them.
While ordering the website i got into some confusion, somehow the manager noticed it and a bubble popped up asking if i wanted to open chat so he could help me, while he was helping me to set things up he was really down to earth, and very friendly, he even gave me a free month because i ran into some trouble, if that isn’t good service i don’t know what is, they truly handle you like a bro.
5 stars all around.

I recently switched my 24 slot TTT server from Xenon Servers to Brohoster. I must say, the extra $7 I have to pay is worth it. Xenon had bad quality and mediocre support. The only guy who really new how to do anything at Xenon was the owner and he was hardly ever on.
Getting back to brohoster, it’s an awesome hoster. Trumped Xenon in every way. I’m also already good friends with the owner and he helped me set up my GMod server so quick I was almost stupified.
5 star everything. Good job brohoster. I no longer feel like a ho.

I’ve had no previous experience with web hosters, but Brohoster has certainly left a good impression! Setting up the website was easy and it was up and running less than a day after I put my order up. Really user-friendly website and great customer support makes Brohoster the absolute choice for first-timers as well as people looking to transfer!

I was skeptical at first when I seen Brohoster – I thought to myself ‘Just another shared web host’. Other hosts that I’d used in the past had given me serious problems and simply ended up disappearing without a trace, but not Brohoster.
Jacob and the team have provided me with a quality service as well as excellent support unmatched by any other host I’ve experienced. Their ridiculously low prices and honest take on webhosting made it so much easier to choose them as my host, and any issues I’ve had have been dealt with in a personal and professional manner.
The guys at Brohoster have done a fantastic job of setting up a company that not only provides the best in hosting, but also makes you feel truly like a bro.

Jacob Jervey is the lovechild of Optimus Prime and the coolest goddamn pair of Raybans you can find. Very cheap servers with outstanding quality and the tech support is the best tech support for any product ever. Website appearance gets an automatic 5 for sunglasses. I am extremely happy with my server and laugh at people who buy unreliable servers for more than a very stable but easily affordable Brohoster server.

After purchasing a domain plus webhosting, I can already say that Brohoster is a far more superior provider than others I have been with. After purchasing, I quickly received a validation email and everything was setup within the next 10 minutes. The email also gave me access to the domain’s cPanel which makes things much easier to run and maintain too.
Because of the great service and support I had with Brohoster, I also decided to purchase a 10 slot Teamspeak 3 server with them which works a treat.
What I personally love about Brohoster is how they treat their customers.
As a regular Steam user, I find it great that I can quickly get in contact with a member of the Brohoster Team. Along with this, the team regularly host gaming events on their Steam Group for games like TF2 etc. on their servers.
I can say without a doubt that Brohoster is certainly one of the best providers I have been with and I can highly recommend them. I’m sure the unique branding will also help them grow to become one of the most popular providers on the net.

I am not experienced at all with websites and when I got my site from Brohoster it went up instantly and the domain only took a few minutes to get active! I was up and running really quickly. I was wowed by the amount of things I have to keep track of but luckily the Brohoster support is always on to help you and the cPanel Brohoster uses makes my life that much easier.
It’s great being one of Brohoster’s bros and I highly recommend to join us, the team is a great bunch of guys who treat treat you like a friend and not strictly as a customer.
Amazing host, I’ll be sure to stick with Brohoster for many years to come!

Extremely quick customer service that will answer your questions. I was surprised by how many features they give you for such a small price. And speaking of price, it’s probably the lowest I’ve seen from a webhoster. Not to mention, their awesome site layout, which stands up to their slogan. Honestly, definitely one of the best.

Brohoster has provided me with excellent service, even before I was a customer, by offering a recurring voucher of 25% off. After becoming a customer, or, a bro I have received excellent service for the price I paid (I would pay more). The customer support is amazing, I needed some help getting started with some things, and installing wordpress and this help was provided and 5 minutes later my problem was solved (note that these problems was because of my lack of knowledge and nothing to do with brohoster!). As well as customer service, because brohoster has started off around the gaming community I have even often had invites into games along with the webmaster, jake, who is a really cool guy. All the features I’ve needed has been included, and it includes all the standard features and tools. I know they’ve been expanding into gameservers too, and as for tools there has been talk from them about creating a server management tool for your desktop and iPhone (I’ve never seen this before, amazing!). The website is very stylish and easy to navigate.
After being with so many web hosts in the past, each has gave me some kind of problem. With Brohoster I have not had a single problem so far. As a plus, they have also given me a free month, and a 50% off recurring voucher for a little competition they had going.

I bought my site nearly a month ago and already I have to say Brohoster is the best. I’ve gone through many webhosts, nothing was ever as easy as using their service and the customer service is better than the best. I accidentally locked myself out of my own site, contacted the Manager and he was able to get my site back to me in a matter of minutes! He was quick to reply and that really made me happy. Brohoster is like no other, I definitely recommend them.

Just switched to this web host a few days ago, so I cant really comment on how stable the service is. However, from what I’ve experienced so far, I can tell I’ll be sticking around. I contacted support when I had some trouble importing an sql database. The support guy was honest enough to just say “oh, im not really up on my sql, one second” …instead of the mindless reading of support scripts, I was suddenly talking with the manager who was very competent and happy to help troubleshoot. There are real human beings behind this company who will treat you as such.

Bought a personal webhosting package from Brohoster to compliment my existing hosting and domain. Before I even made the purchase, Brohoster’s support had contacted me to ask if I had any questions, and they walked me through purchasing and setting up my hosting package. The package was setup in less than a minute, everything worked first go, no problems at all. I’ve been using their service for 2 months now, and I’ve never experienced any lag or downtime. Brohoster’s support is awesome, and they keep adding new features and services. Highly recommended.

I’ve gone through so many webhosts, but I’m glad I’m here now. The other day they fixed a PHP script for me. When I switched from HostGator, my entire site was back up and running in 4 hours. Well, that isn’t right, because the DNS took 4 hours to resolve. My entire site was transfered in about…15 minutes. MySQL restored and everything. When they say they are down to earth with you, they mean it. The other day when I went to tech support and they ended up fixing my PHP script, we spent the next hour talking about random things, since no one was waiting, and there were no support tickets. I feel at home with these guys. I just wish more people knew about them. You’d be an idiot to go somewhere else.

I’m running both a TF2 server and a web server via Brohoster. Brohoster offers great support (the best I’ve seen) and speed. It took me a while to find the right hosting service, but this is definitely it. I recommend Brohoster 100%.

Brohoster has definitely made purchasing a gameserver one of the most pleasant experiences in my online purchase history. I was able to personally speak with the owner of the service while contemplating my decision to buy, and as soon as I did, I had a running server in less than 5 minutes. Personal feel Brohoster has going for them at the moment really makes them stand out from other hosting companies, and I hope they don’t lose that quality as they inevitably grow.
