"I am the C.E.O. of a website hosting company and one of my clients is a steam group inviter program owner (GroupGator.org). I have an account on his group on steam as an admin to send out game connection invites to some gameservers that I have for my clan.

I messaged him (XXL|Havoc) because the Owner of Group Gator gave me specific instructions to not post Clan specific names / websites. And I was simply stating that Group Gator does not allow this.

This owner or tech completely shit talked me after stating that the client moved over to their hosting because they have: “Alot better servers”. The reason he moved is purely temporary as our hosting blocks his signup process due to his high security concerns.

Anyway here’s how the conversation ensued. Completely un-called for and shows how horrible this company truly is.

I am the owner of EdgeGameServers.

I think that this is uncalled for an very unprofessional of this individual. The reason why I chose to dispute this is because how can you rate my website, pricing, and server quality over one of my tech's steam chats. We don't even provide tech support over steam so you guys could have been having a personal conversation and something you could have left out led to this. I think this review should be removed because it has nothing to do with the services I offer and you are not one of our customers.

Sorry I also forgot to include that this guys is the old host of one of my clients and is angry because the client switched. Which is also very unprofessional to talk bad about another host that you have never used their services from just because you lost a client to them

I contacted you to stop posting things that were related to yourself on his group.. then you start shit talking me for absolutely no reason… also GroupGator.. Jeremy is not a client, hes been a friend for over a year now.

There is no "anger" and my friend hasn't transferred to you permanently its a temporary switch for maybe a month max, he hasn't transferred over domain, or anything to you. The switch is so he can develop his new program and keep it hosted with us since our security levels are so high and we have personally blocked over 6,000 hacking / sql/php injection attempts to his site, we locked it down even more upon his request and his fsockout for google reCaptcha was blocked, hence why were coding a new locally hosted captcha for him..

This personal attack against me stating that I'm angry is ridiculous I've been doing Webhosting, Website Design and Game Servers for far much longer than you have even been on steam. These claims you make are all lies, all you do is shit talk and slander everyone left and right. It's been seen by alot of people that your company is un-professional and your trying to make this into a "hes mad" redirect.

Sorry that's not going to work here.

Haha, "kid". That's a good one. Is it better for you if I say you "crap" talked. Or is that too much for your business model as well? You'r not denying that your tech has made a fool of himself and your company, your simply trying to make this into a fight against me.

Here's a tip, from a "kid". Get better tech's & salesmen.

if you refer to me quickly as a "kid" over the internet especially in the game server trade then you obviously have no respect for any of your clients since a good %90 of them are probably under the age of 18, and you devalue their value as a client because you classify them as a "kid".

Can't wait for the real reviews of your clients who aren't asked to give you good reviews.

Not once did I say kids shouldn't play games. They make up probably 90% of the clients in the industry. It is people like you who give the industry a bad name. Please stop trolling on a forum. I am done arguing with you since this will not go anywhere other than arguing back and forth.

Im glad I saw this post because I was interested in possibly purchasing a gameserver from edge but now that I know this is how you conduct business by getting into an argument over who said what is ridiculous. Both of you own "Companies" so you should start acting like a real company and not troll each other on a GSP Review forum it turns off customers.

What is funny in this story is that Damien from i4cuhosting.com just proved the whole industry that he can not compete with other providers. He got mad because he lost a client over Edge Game Servers. What he does about it? Giving a bad review about Edge Game Servers instead of trying to convince his customer to stay with him. This is pathetic and unprofessional from his part. I believe this review should be removed.

The client is with me, he is using temp space from EGS because he needs an un-secured server which they have.

My security blocks parts of his programming from running, hence why we are re-doing it with him.

Okay. Let's say for a second that your servers are more secured. Please explain me why would you make a bad review about Edge Game Servers if you KNEW that your customer is using them temporarily and that you knew he will get back to you when he is done with Edge Game Servers. Makes no sens at all.

What ever happened to the no flame war rule on any hosting forums. That is the only purpose of any dispute section on any hosting forum. Sickening and pathetic.

Unless you are a believer in that there is no such thing as negative publicity. Then more power to you. I move to close this section totally. There are more professional ways to handle your disputes. HELLO Registered or not that is why the BBB was put in place.

Damien and Edge communicated about the issue and settled things with the hope that similar incidents won't be repeated in the future.

Per Damien's request I've deleted his initial rating; I'll close this thread to prevent further flames considering the issue was resolved.
